Challengers News · Softball: Challengers Roll In 10-1 Romp

How nice to play in front of the hometown faithful. Even better, how nice to play in front of family and friends and win. The Challengers did just that as they cruised to a 10-1 victory over Yreka Wednesday at US Cellular Community Park.

Katelyn Willard tossed her third no-hitter, striking out 19 of 21 hitters. Offensively, the senior right-hander and lefty bat swinger went 2 for 4, with a run scored and RBI. Zoie Fisher went 1 for 4 with a stolen base and two runs scored. Rebecca Clark went 1 for 3 with a run batted in, Callie Sweem was 1 for 3, and Ali Modrell was 1 for 3 with a double.
