Challenger wrestlers are number one! Besides being number one in our hearts, Cascade Christian wrestling claimed the best GPA as a team for 3A wrestlers with a 3.81.

Whether it was basketball, wrestling, swimming or cheer, Cascade Christian winter athletics programs enjoyed a stellar season. Demonstrating how excellence spills over into other areas of life, Challenger athletes achieved success academically as well.

The girls and boys basketball teams each finished second in the Oregon 3A with team GPAs of 3.85 for the girls, and 3.71 for the Cascade Christian boys. The Sutherlin girls took number one in the 3A with a 3.95, while Harrisburg was in the top spot on the boys side with a 3.73.

It was close in girls swimming. In the combined 4A/3A/2A/1A, Cascade Christian earned a 3.91, good enough for third place. Sisters took the top spot with a 3.94, followed by La Grande at 3.93.

Challenger Cheer posted a 3.62, placing them sixth among schools spanning across all six classifications.
