Challengers News · Wins By Purrier, Sorani, & Hagloch Highlight Basin JV Meet

Cascade Christian Varsity Track Coach Mike Schaan has some promising talent in the pipeline. Freshmen Jerushah Purrier and Jake Sorani were winners, as was sophomore Elliana Hagloch at the Wayne Amos Basin JV Invitational in Klamath Falls Friday.

Hagloch hurled the discus a distance of 81’1.” Purrier took first in the 100 meter run with a time of 13.43. Sorani cruised to a 10-second victory in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:19.72.

Purrier posted a PR of 29.11 while finishing 3rd in the 200. Griffin Scott scored a personal best of 57.18, while finishing 2nd in the 400. Freshman ElsieBryant PRed with a javelin throw of 86 feet, as she finished second. Ethan Rathburn, Will Pierson, Ethan Kleinsasser and Kristian Fralich finished second in the 4×100. Pierson finished 2nd in the high jump with a 5’04”.
